bad breathThere is probably nothing worse than bad breath.  Sometimes you are aware that you have a problem, due to a sore tooth or the fact that you just ate a sandwich stuffed with onions.  And, other times you may not be aware that you have bad breath.   Unfortunately, most people are not just going to walk up to you and say, “I’m not sure you are aware of this, but you have really bad breath.”  Your best friend or a family member might do this, but certainly not a co-worker or someone who’s taking your food order at a restaurant.

How to Tell If Your Breath Stinks

A good way to find out if you have bad breath is to lick the back of your hand.  Blow on the spot you just licked until it dries, then smell it.  That’s what your breath smells like.  If it’s bad, you may want to follow these simple home remedies to cure that bad breath.

Bad Breath Remedies

* Chew peppermint or carnation for better breath smell.

* Swallow one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before each meal.

* To lose the bad breath eat pumpkin daily.

* Brush your teeth with baking soda.

* Blanch parsley and drink several times a day to help bad breath.

* Drink chamomile tea.

* Gargle with Blanch Thyme-Leaved Savory.

* Gargle with salty water.

* When you brush your teeth in the morning be sure to scrub your tongue with your toothbrush last.

* Buy a tongue scraper.  They sell these at local drug stores now to scrape bacteria from your tongue while brushing.
