Home Remedies for Cirrhosis of the Liver

However, there are some other causes to look for, such as:  poor nutrition or a highly toxic condition of the system in general.  During the early stages of this disease, usually only frequent attacks of indigestion along with nausea and vomiting. 


More advanced symptoms include:

• Abdominal pain
• Loss of weight
• Low grade fever
• Foul breath
• Jaundiced skin
• Distended veins in the abdomen
• Reddish hair like markings on the face,  neck, arms, and trunk
• Bloated and swollen abdomen
• Clouded mind
• Bleeding from the stomach

Home remedies for Cirrhosis of the Liver:

• Papaya Seeds:  A tablespoon of this juice can be made by grinding the seeds and mixing with ten drops of fresh lime juice.  Take twice a day for a month.

• Eclipta:  This juice from all parts of this plant should be taken in doses of one teaspoon.  Mix with a teaspoon of honey three times a day.

• Picrorhia:  The root of this herb is in powdered form and should be mixed with an equal amount of honey.  Take three times a day.  If constipation is an issue, increase the dose to double the amount and give it with a cup of warm water three to four times a day.  This will stimulate the liver to produce more bile, which will relieve congestion of the liver and the tissues.
