Tired of Being Overweight?

weight lossObesity is something a lot of us suffer from, but we don’t have to.  Some have tried diet pills only to find that as soon as you stop taking them, you put the weight right back on.  The feelings associated with being overweight are also hard to deal with.  We feel sick of wearing fat clothes to hide our body and we are tired of not going to social gatherings because we feel fat.  Our stomachs are upset all the time and we are just not happy with ourselves.

Weight Loss Remedies

Instead of reaching for the diet pills, why not try some home remedies for weight loss.  Water is a big one.  However, if you can’t stand to drink water, you will want to buy the powder packets of flavoring (the sugar free and diet ones).  There are tons of flavors offered now such as lemonade, berry, fruit punch, etc.  These really jazz up the water and you don’t feel as though you are drinking bland water.


While you are sitting at your desk at work, sit up straight, tighten your tummy and work your legs.  Try lifting your heels off the ground while your toes are still touching the ground.  This helps your legs gain muscle and lose fat.  Other things you can try while at your desk are to turn your torso to the left and right and try tightening your tummy.  You can do all of these things while working at your desk (or at home at your desk if you work from home).


There are a lot of foods you can replace too.  It’s hard to eliminate your favorite foods, but you have to be realistic if you seriously want to lose the weight.  Avoid geting sucked in by those infomercials that say you can take a little pill and lose weight without lifting a finger.  It will take some effort on your part.  But, if you are serious, you will definitely lose the weight and you can do it the natural way.
