Toothache Home Remedies - Take Away That Pain Naturally!
Everybody has suffered from a toothache at one point or another and all toothaches seem to be different. There are many things that you can find around your house that can help alleviate a toothache.
Clove oil may be used to help relieve the pain of a toothache. It is a non-edible topical analgesic. Clove oil can help numb the sore area and has antiseptic qualities to clean the area of infection. You can mix olive oil and a few drops of clove oil and then soak a cotton ball in it. You then put the cotton ball near the place of pain in your mouth. The pain should start to go away.
Hydrogen peroxide is also another remedy some use to deal with a toothache. You can make a mixture of warm water and hydrogen peroxide and then swish it around your mouth. You never want to swallow this mixture as it can be harmful.
It has also been said that chewing on a piece of fresh onion for three minutes will help a toothache. The onion will kill the bacteria in the mouth that may be causing irritation to the infected tooth. You may want to try chewing rock salt with the onion for a more effective remedy.
There are many home remedies for a toothache. Make sure if you are using something that is suppose to be a non-edible item that you just rinse your mouth with it, never swallow it!
