Acne Remedies

• Believe it or not, aloe vera is very effective against acne.  It acts as an anti-inflammatory and has antibacterial properties which helps clear up the skin.

•  Women should always remove their make-up at night before they go to bed.  By leaving the make-up on it blocks the pores and can cause acne.

• Try applying toothpaste to your acne.  You can apply it before you go to bed at night and wash it off the next morning.  This actually works great.

• One of the most popular home remedies is hydrogen peroxide.  If you use a cotton ball and apply the peroxide to your face you will be surprised at how fast the acne goes away.  Your face will also feel very fresh and clean.

• Vitamins also help tremendously.  Zinc helps to strengthen the immune system and repairs the skin.  Vitamin A promotes healthy skin and vitamin E is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.
